One of my favorite character types is a hard-bitten private investigator. Nick Harris definitely fits the bill! On the four-year anniversary of his wife’s murder, Nick is still looking for answers. He isn’t sure if he can love again, but then he (literally!) runs into Ashlyn Shay. Nick’s knight-in-shining-armor complex comes to the forefront, and he’s ready to protect her from the unknown assailant who’s out to get her.
